The Community Action Agency’s Housing Assistance and Services program is a one-stop resource for Anne Arundel County residents that assist with prevention of homelessness and achievement of housing stability. The Agency’s counselors and case managers help households create comprehensive short and long-term goals, including budgeting, banking, credit repair, employment, and home ownership with a network of community partners.
Renters
Assists County residents with eviction prevention and first months rent or security deposit.
Financial Literacy.
Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP):
Provides financial assistance to help Anne Arundel County renters who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. To be eligible, renters must have incomes at or below 80% Adjusted Median Income (AMI) and must submit a completed application with all required documentation
Homeowners
Reverse Mortgage Counseling:

Must be 62 years or older

$125 counseling fee

HomeBuyers Workshop
During this 8 hour workshop, our experienced and HUD-certified housing counseling staff and guest facilitators will cover:
